  “I contacted G and D tree service to cut down three trees and to grind the stumps in early May. Getting the estimate included numerous phone calls and no shows just to have the owner come out and do the estimate. After finally getting the estimate, the price and date were agreed upon for June 3rd, 2014. The day the work was to be done, I was informed his stump grinder was broken down and so the stumps could not be done that day. Even though only half the job was done, I payed the full amount with the promise that his grinder would be fixed in a week and they would be taken care of. Over the next month, 3 calls were made with messages left until finally getting a return call 7/15/14. I was given various excuses of why his stump grinder was still not fixed, and that he was renting one the following week and that I would be the first one to get done on Monday. Monday came and no one showed up, and no one called. I talked to the owner Tuesday and he said it would be Thursday, the 31st for sure. Again, no one showed up and the owner didn't return any of my calls. Friday, August 1st, I received a text while I was at work saying that the stumps were done. When I got home, all three of the stumps were still sticking out from the ground, not one of them actually removed below ground level. I talked to the owner, and he said he would come out personally on August 14 to take care of it, and never showed. Then again said he would be out on the 21st, and never showed again. Now he won't return any of my calls or texts to finish the job that was already payed for and drug out over an entire summer.”
