Underwood Forestry and Tree Service is dedicated to providing Southwest Colorado with a full-service tree management company. Specializing in tree trimming, tree removal, tree risk and health assessments, wildfire mitigation, forestry, and timber management. Our goal is to safely implement forestry and arborist practices in a cost effective and ecologically founded manner. Our seasoned professionals will improve forest and tree health and lower wildland fire danger for our customers. Steve Underwood, owner, retired from the National Park Service as the Fire Management Officer/Wildland Fire Chief in 2017. He was a Prescribed Fire Boss, Fuels Management Specialist, Unlimited Size Tree Faller for Federal Firefighting.
