I painted my grandpa's house at age 15 for 10$ an hour using only a hand brush to do the entire house. I didnt think that I'd be recalling the story so many times in my adult life when asked why I always have to go above and beyond. After painting the eves of his house he asked. " Are you proud of that?" I replied "Yea" "Are you proud of that??" He asked once more. Now with uncertainty I responded, "Yea?"... His face turned solemn with dissatisfaction, and as if I had known all along that it was not up to his standards, he said one last time... "..Im gonna ask you one more time... Are you proud of that?" I responded with, putting more paint on . His house..ASKED by a painting crew. 20 YEARS LATER "JUST PAINTED?"... I AM PROUD...love ya Sam.
